How do I find the version number of SoftLINK?

You can easily find your SoftLINK product version within the SoftLINK Tutor.

  1. Click Options in the Tutor Console and select About from the drop-down menu.
  2. The version number will be displayed.

Display more detailed version information
When contacting Applied Computer Systems, Inc. Technical Support, you may be asked to send more detailed version information about your SoftLINK installation.

  1. Start the command prompt.
  2. Change to the SoftLINK installation folder, e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\SoftLINK Class Control
  3. At the command prompt, type DBI *.* and press Return.
  4. The version of all executable and DLL files in the folder will be displayed.

Note: By Entering DBI *.* >Version.txt, a text file named Version.txt will be created in the SoftLINK directory, which can be sent to support@acs-linksystems.com.
