Summary
Starting with SoftLINK Version 11.41.0009, a new 256 color palette optimization feature is included. This introduces the ability to change the maximum color depth configuration when using the View or Show feature to use one of the following options:

256 Colors (high quality) 256 Colors (medium quality) 256 Colors (low quality) Unlimited

The introduction of the above new settings will assist in optimizing the performance when Showing and Viewing Clients over Wireless network without impacting the quality of the ViewShow session.

In order to change the max color depth setting when using the Show or View feature for SoftLINK please follow the instructions below:

Show Setting:
1. Start the Tutor Console
2. Access the {View} drop down menu
3. Choose the {Current Settings..} option
4. Select the {Show} option
5. From here you will find the {Max Color Depth:} setting

View Setting:
1. Start the Tutor Console
2. Access the {View} drop down menu
3. Choose the {Current Settings..} option
4. Choose the {Remote Control} – {View} option
5. From here you will find the {Max Color Depth:} setting
